Meet Sofy

Couples and Family Counselling in Cheltenham, Melbourne
When conversations turn into conflict, distance starts to grow, or you feel stuck in the same patterns, whether in your relationship, parenting, or during separation, this is a space to pause and begin working through it.
With over a decade of experience, Sofy has supported individuals, couples, and families through complex challenges, including separation, high-conflict dynamics, parenting stress, mental health, and trauma.
She has extensive experience working with teens and families navigating sensitive situations, including matters connected to family court and post-separation arrangements. This has shaped her understanding of the pressure families can carry, and what it takes to move forward.
Sofy is known for her honest and direct approach. She won’t just tell you what you want to hear but will guide you toward what you need to hear, while ensuring you feel supported, respected, and understood.
Her work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including the Gottman Method, family systems therapy, and child-inclusive practice. Sessions are tailored, practical, and focused on outcomes that make a real difference in everyday life.
Based in Cheltenham, Sofy offers in-person and online counselling for clients across Melbourne and Australia.
