About

Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but they can also open the door to growth and healing. Taking the next step isn’t always easy, it can be painful at times, but it also means you’re moving forward.

At Golden Path Counselling, we believe every person and every family has their own unique journey. We specialize in family therapy, supporting couples and families with children as they navigate difficult seasons. Healing begins when you find the path that feels true to you, and you don’t have to walk it alone.

For more than a decade, Sofy has supported families through some of life’s toughest moments: domestic violence, substance use, mental health struggles, youth at risk, and separation or divorce. These experiences have shaped her approach, deepened her understanding, and inspired her to offer meaningful, compassionate support.

She has continued to grow her expertise through training in counselling, family systems therapy, the Gottman Method for couples, and psychosexual therapy, equipping her to walk alongside people facing complex personal and relational challenges.

We believe real, lasting change happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Whether you’re struggling in your relationship, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need a safe space to talk, this is a place where your story matters, and where healing can begin.
